Police in Ontario’s London say they have charged a 19-year-old Toronto man in connection with allegedly making a hit list and making death threats towards some people at King’s University College in London.

In a news release, the London Police Service said the arrest followed an investigation launched after a complaint was received on December 15, 2025. Police arrested a 19-year-old Toronto resident named Safeeullah Aslami and charged him with three counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm.

Police said that on Sunday, December 14, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., the suspect was sitting in a common area of university building located on Epworth Avenue in London, where several other residents were also present. During that time, the suspect allegedly compiled a list of adult male names and told at least one person present that the list contained the names of people he wanted to kill.

While seated there, the suspect allegedly made threats toward two individuals whose names were on the list. Those two victims reported the incident to a staff member. Following an investigation police arrested the suspect on Wednesday, December 15, 2025. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
