Is it possible under the Malaysian constitution that NOT JUST FEDERAL GOVT but also more than one STATE GOVTs may change hand in the course of defection?
There are already 5 states in the hands of Anwar's camp.
The trend of defection and breaking up of BN is going on, including ministers and entire component party of BN is defecting to Anwar's camp.
My question is as a result of these, when a state assembly currently with majority held by BN happen to lose BN majority as a result defection, weather the state ruler sultan can re-appoint another state government and chief minister under Malaysian constitution?
If so then we should anticipate that Anwar's camp will eventually not only control federal government but also more than the current 5 states.
There is a high chance, because I remember that some states are only held by BN with just only very marginal majority in the March 08 general election.
