This cabby apparently forced his way into STOMPer Eric's lane and showed him the finger when the STOMPer honked at him.
Said the STOMPer:
"This incident happened at 8.35am today (Oct 11.)
"This taxi driver in a blue Hyundai Sonata cab, bearing the licence plate 2019, tried to force his way out into my lane from the taxi stand along Raffles Quay going towards Tanjong Pagar.
"He nearly caused a collision, so I honked at him to warn him that I was beside him.
"But he forced his way out without caring about the safety of other road users.
"I happened to stop beside him at the traffic light junction, and he showed me his middle finger and other vulgar gestures.
"I, being a Singaporean, felt ashamed to see such behaviour from a public transport driver. It would have tarnished our reputation if any tourist had witnessed the incident.
"He must be serverely dealt with by the taxi company, or else more road users will be harmed by his inconsiderate driving or even abused by his vulgar gestures.
"When I took out my camera to take a photo of him, he pretended to be looking in front act as if nothing had happened."
