Orchard Rd, taxi woes goes back for decades, never solved...I can tell you stories of taking a cab from Orchard Tower taxi Stand, Forum, Liat Towers, anywhere along the road, Far East, Lucky Plaza, Wisma, TSC, Centre point....PS..the list goes on...

They have change shift, CBD zone...rain...& excuses galore, not to pick you & you are in an extreme need for a taxi...you wish you could contact "Scottie" to BEAM YOU UP & take you home...

You can wave a S$1,000 note...you cannot get one single cab..never mind, do not call....
