I want to complain.

I know a guy who is single and is low income earner. He is the only child and is staying with his mum. He is waiting for his mum to be gone to inherit her 4 room hdb, cpf money, savings and insurance policies.

He wait until he is now 51 years old already. His mum is 79 years old, walks abit slow which is normal for old people but she does not have any major illness. The hdb is already 53 years old.

I tell him i think he maybe gone before his mum. Or maybe by the time he inherit her assets, he should be 70 years old and above already.
What you think about him?

Do you know of anybody who is in the same situation as him?

If you want to talk about such thing that includes the lifespan of a person. You need to ask the man and his mum if they are vaccinated first. Then we can gauge their lifespan. And subsequently about the inheritance or whatever comes after the correct gauge of their lifespan.

Yes my uncle know 1 char siew waiting for his mum to die to inherit to give his vietbu.

There is a good reason why he is single and that is because he needs to take care of the mum. If mum is independent, he would have left a long time ago.plus mum maybe difficult to live with hence no gf.

Some answered with good reasons but I think some sons in that situation are mostly hopeless mercenaries!
