With 3rd tier opposition like SDP contesting, it just really a matter of how much pap could win.

BE could only play to pap advantage now as it means they will enter the next GE likely on a winning note after losing PEBE.

Expect PAP to win big! The people of Tanjong Pagar are intimately close to LKY. It's the founding father's very own ward. The folks of Tanjong Pagar are gonna fiercely defend that ward and ensure that any invading opposition contender will lose big time.

People associate Singapore's progress to PAP. With or without Ah Gong, people are still gonna vote for PAP. The other political parties collectively contributed zilch to Singapore's progress. And people are mindful of that when they decide who to vote for.

To be safe and to ensure their progress, PAP should appoint the king of hindsight Mark Andrew Yeo Kah Ch$ng to replace LKY.
