"In defence, counsel for Ben Yap revealed to the Court that many ex-students who went on to graduate with the alleged "fake" degrees were offered PMET jobs in IDA. He claimed that the degree programs offered by his clients were essentially for the purposes of preparing the students for PMET jobs in government sectors in Singapore, an advantage that NUS and NTU could not have offered to their graduates.

The counsel further elaborated on his client's plans to move the operation to Mumbai in India in the event his client was convicted."

" ..... cash back scheme scam that cheated three banks into disbursing student loans........The scam saw Brookes Business School
recruiting students to apply for study loans based on inflated course fees. The excess sums were then shared between the school, students
and others who acted as brokers for the scheme."

Shocking that even banks got cheated-makes me wonder about the quality of these banks-sadly the 154 as usual did not make an investigative
report to find out more and reveal the names of the banks
Is it safe to deposit your monies with such low quality banks?
Do these bankers come from South pacific , Mumbai, Pinoy universities ?
