old condo built with concrete and rebars. cannot tahan if major remodelling in some units remove load bearing columns and beams for contemporary open concept and or aesthetics reasons. for tall buildings, it’s more stable and long lasting to build with i-girders in lattice design. best is an exoskeleton braced with lattice girders.

How to remove load bearing volumns? Even contractors will not do it.
