A fight broke out between two brothers (above) just outside the mortuary at the Singapore General Hospital yesterday.
The brothers were apparently fighting over who should be first to identify the remains of a man who was their mother's boyfriend.
Punches were thrown and voices were raised.
And things got so bad that the mother fainted on the road from shock and horror.
Even the police were called in.
The man, who had a long crime record, had been in and out of prison over 30 years, starting in 1969.
Among his crimes were rape and kidnapping.
