I told the team leeturn means leeturn to you, and the back is leedundant so I modified it but they were unhappy about it and thought that I wanted to act smart.

There is a lack of fluency in both spoken and written English among the majority of adults in S'pore, in spite of 10 years or more of instruction in an English-medium school environment. Generations of young S'poreans in the working world are hampered by their inability to be understood globally. All things being equal, we are far more likely to advance in our careers if we speak and write grammatically correct English.

I had trouble staying in a job due to my characteristic and viewpoints at work.
I had never agreed to the concept of slavery so I always tried to avoid it whenever I could.
Of course the best way for this is to be self employed and yet I didn't wanted to take any form of risk.

I define slavery as being controlled by someone, both physically and mentally.
Micro mgt and bullies are the worst form of slavery.
I usually walked off within a day or 2 for such act.

I can only accept jobs with a tangible well defined job scope. I turn up for work at a predetermined time and deliver the defined job scope with precision.
Unfortunately this is not the only attribute what some leaders are looking for. They want to have control and power over you.

I did managed to find such like minded objective leaders, and I managed to stay put for several years and left due to low salary. (like $1.8k back in the 90s)

My very last stop (with salary $3.5k) I was lucky to find such leader again and stayed for a good 8 years. He left me alone knowing I will not create any problem for him. He even allowed me to sleep at work cos he trusted me with any task given to me and I will deliver swiftly. However even with good appraisals coming from him all the time, my salary leemained at 3.5k cap as I leejected promotions to leadership roles.
I'm happy drawing 3.5k when my definition of non slavery was met.

My good days ended when we were Lee leeployed to other projects.
I met a micro mgt leader and beaten him to a puppy before I left for good.

The trick is to lessen your monthly financial commitments.

I doesn't t like to control people as much as I dislike people controlling me.
We must be prepared to control people as a leader, and not every worker will behave like I do. You don't manage them they will climb over you.

Not say I want to boast, if I had wanted leadership roles, by now maybe I'm already a director or CEO of a company KNN
