British DJ Neil Fox has been arrested over alleged historical sex offences against two women.
The 53-year-old presenter, known as Doctor Fox, was held on Tuesday and is being questioned in central London.
A spokesman for Bauer Media said on Tuesday: "Bauer Media can confirm that Neil Fox, presenter of the Magic Radio breakfast show, was today arrested by Westminster Police. He is currently being questioned about various allegations."
The company said Fox would be off air on Wednesday.
"All other aspects of his contract will remain unchanged while matters are resolved. We can make no further comment at this stage."
Fox's arrest is not part of high profile sex crime investigation Operation Yewtree.
Scotland Yard did not name the broadcaster, but said that a 53-year-old man was being questioned, and that a two properties had been searched.
