The defence secretary has asked Brunei for assurances that gay British troops in the state will not be affected by its draconian new anti-LGBT laws.

Gavin Williamson said yesterday that the UK was intervening at the “highest levels” after the southeast Asian sultanate made adultery and gay sex offences punishable by death by stoning.

“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has immediately started discussions with the government of Brunei to discuss this because we want to ensure that they do not affect our service personnel in any way whatsoever,” Mr Williamson said.

The UK has had a contingent of Gurkhas in Brunei since the 1960s. About 2,000 personnel are based there as part of a five-year agreement that expires next spring.

Ah the Gurkhas homosexuals?

Any closet gay reservists going to Brunei for training? Be careful!

As long as you don't touch other men's KKJ in public who the hell knows you're gay in private

The five year agreement is ending..so when it ends don't post lah...and it's the m&ds that wanted the Gurkhas there since independence. As they are to guard the sultan incase there is a revolution. Only 3 countries have access to Gurkhas. Singkieland, Brunei mudland and pommieland and the reason why they are in these 2 former colonies was to protect the royal families. Now of the Gurkhas being faggots are an issue with Brunei. The sultan can give them up n depend on his own ppl to defend him

Are Gurkhas gay?

Homos should not be allowed to be in the military. Instead of concentrating on carrying out missions objectively, they will be thinking of fucking the guy next to him, flirting with him, wanting to suck the many dicks around him, or ogling at the tight butts of his comrades. The enemy will surely win.

If your logic is correct, then we have a similar problem with females in the military.

This is why gays should not be allowed to serve in the military.
