An 87-year-old Singaporean woman was found dead on Tuesday evening in her unit at Springdale Condominium along Hindhede Walk in Bukit Timah.
The police were alerted to the case at 5.23pm, and the woman was pronounced dead by paramedics at 6.27pm.
A 24-year-old woman, believed to be a maid from Myanmar, was subsequently arrested in relation to the case.
The police have classified the case as murder and investigations are ongoing.
