Foreigners are laughing at Cheenapore
<hr style="color: rgb(152, 152, 152); background-color: rgb(152, 152, 152);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> My two American colleagues have been assigned to S'pore for the last eight months, and they have been approached on two occasions by the relevant authority to take up permanent residency with a promise of full citizenship in due course.
Instead of appreciating such gesture extended to them, they are laughing at them and telling us that our govt is so desperate for foreign talents and they make our citizenship looks so cheap.
My response to them is that old fart is going all out to dilute the true-blue local population with new citizens in order to remain in power and also new citizens won't know about how he has almost bankrupted the nation!
