Break-in at Toh Guan

By Alessa Pang

A 52-YEAR-OLD housewife was a victim of a house break-in on Thursday morning.

She had locked up her flat unit at Toh Guan Road at 12.30am on Wednesday night before heading to sleep.

Her son had left the windows open as he was asleep in the living room. The window grills remained locked.

The victim discovered that her handbag was missing in the morning just after 6am. She usually left her handbag near the window.

The window grills were intact and there was no sign of forced entry.

Her handbag contained about $300 in cash and her mobile phone.

Anyone with information may call the police hotline at 1800 255 0000.

The police would like to remind the public to be vigilant and not leave their belongings unattended.
