Breadtalk was never meant to be their core biz.. they was eyeing the kopitiam biz la.. they merely blow Breadtalk big big initially then attract people with wayang loti show, so that when they go IPO many people will invest in them. They then take the IPO monies and dumped all into the Food Republic and other foodcourt biz... now u dun see Breadtalk open more branches rite? and also their pastry n bread selection stagnant liao.. no new flavors since donkey years ago.. now Breadtalk merely surviving for show, while his real cash cow is running the food courts and charging high high rentals to rake in the monies!!

Eh sidetrack abit. Any of you who have been to Melbourne would have noticed that they have Breadtop instead of Breadtalk. The store design/ layout looks typical of a Breadtalk store in Singapore and their overpriced rotis look exactly like those crap Breadtalk are selling.

Is this a legitimate franchise? or they copycat? Losta PRCs running the store here in Melb....some of the XMM running the store quite hot sia! hahahaha
