Timo Glock did not change to wet tyres for the last 3 laps
thinking he could maintain, but during the last lap, he really
struggled because the rain was pouring.
Glock slowed considerably on the last lap as his worn dry tyres
could bearly kept him on the track.
This was also a gamble for McClaren team to allow
Hamilton to pit for wet tyres druing the last 3 laps.
This was a calculated risk as they knew Vettel was faster and
could overtake Hamilton, Vettel did, but in return Hamilton overtook Glock
to regain his fifth position, the points he needed to crown F1 world champion for 2008.
The youngest ever champion.

that the point, timo is a experience driver and it was pouring, why take the gamble to carry on dry weather tyres?

Yes I agree .. it was a calculated move, which almost back fired... until the last corner

I believe there is no kelong there .. if Hamilton did not pit during the last 3 laps, he also will not fall into 6th position, as he was 4th at the time he pit.

it is quite obvious.
maybe next year,he will be their test driver, that is the reward for slowing down to enable Hamilton to overtake and won the championship.
nothing to be surprised, kelong is everywhere.

Their team took the risk too, not to pit
if he(T. Glock) pit for wet tyres he will also fall behind
Hamilton.
That's the calculated move by McClaren.
If S.Vettel did not pit, he will be miles away
by the time Hamilton returned to track after pitting,
but not T.Glock as he was slower and very much further behind,
so for him to pit or not to pit, by McClaren calculation,
Hamilton will still be fifth, very close, almost back fired
rather than he did not pit and spunk out of track.
