The police cleared the field. Some demonstrators were subdued or pushed to the wall near Southorn.

The police cleared the scene outside the Wan Chai Police Headquarters to disperse the demonstrators gathered at the Arsenal Street since the rally of the FDC in Edinburgh Square last night. The demonstrators are now retreating to Hennessy Road near the Southorn Stadium. Police officers have subdued some of the demonstrators on the ground and pushed some people to the wall to search.

The clearance operation began around 3:30 in the morning. At that time, demonstrators threw debris at the police glass door. Military uniforms equipped with helmets, long shields and batons entered the military factory building from the police chief and Queensway respectively. Take the defense line and advance to Lockhart Road to clean up the iron horse placed by the demonstrators. The demonstrators retreated to the junction of Lockhart Road and Fenwick Street at 4 am. The police continued to advance after more than 10 minutes. The demonstrators then retreated to Hennessy Road, Johnston Road, Lian Fat Street and Queen's Road East.

The democrats of the Legislative Council, Tan Wenhao, Yang Yueqiao and Yan Junyu, asked the police to give the demonstrators enough time to leave. Qi Junyu also asked for a dialogue with the police commander present. The police ignored it and continued to advance toward the demonstrators. He also called Qi Junyu to leave.

Donald Tsang’s final appeal is final: the retrial does not meet the requirements of justice

The former Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, filed a final appeal for the misconduct of public officials. The five judges of the Court of Final Appeal unanimously ruled that Donald Tsang’s appeal was straightforward and his conviction and sentence were revoked and will not be re-examined in the future.

The final court also stated that since Donald Tsang had served his sentence, the retrial was not in accordance with the requirements of justice.
