Singapore do not have student protestors. Students in Singapore are not able to think or stand for themselves with all the massive brain washing placed on us. Silent to follow whatever that is put forward to them and accept meekly. Student protestors however would be found in Hong Kong.

Brave HK Youth
REAL PROTESTERS
Sept 29th when there is a lull in the afternoon, the students are manning the barriers and having their lunch. They are like any students seen in any country. Young with hopes and energy on their faces. They know they have a future in front of them and they want to grow and experience it.

WHY HK YOUTH WANT TO PROTEST ?
A simple quick chat with these young HK youth why they want to do this protest. Their response was simple, they want HK people to choose their leaders through a vote. These youth love HK and this is where they are born, lived, educated. Their family and friends are here and this is where they will build their future home.

But the question on why the youth of HK want to stand up, they responded immediately. They are part of HK and this is their home too. They want to contribute to the HK society for universal suffrage, to vote for their leader in 2017.
These HK youth were focused with 2 basic reasons. They love HK. They have to protect their future with action.

SINGAPOREAN WANT THEIR FUTURE ?
Would Singaporean youth be able to stand for themselves? First the Singaporean students are brain washed. Many do not believe they are oppressed in Singapore's oppressive society. Their parents are like wise brain washed and defeated. Accepting dysfunction in Singapore while grumbling below their breath. Most Singaporeans are not able to reason and often give many jumbled points, not clear with reasons and often confused. Arguing among ourselves is normal, why do the oppressive party need to deal with dissent, when Singaporeans are beating up each other.
Excuse chit is now a normal acceptable document when the MRT breakdown. Even with the future of our children is at stake, we accept it the damage to our youth.
The Singapore government now tells Singaporeans that degrees are not encouraged, grumbles once more. But who is protesting? Who is taking action? Is grumbling a form of protest? To the world, grumbling stays as grumbles. Nothing will change. So even with a sizeable portion of Singapore's scholarship given to foreign students and not to our own Singaporeans, that is okay.
There are many issues to deal with in Singapore, but do we realise that grumbles is not protest. The only change seen are by the oppressive party destroying Singapore. Nothing else matters but Growth at ALL Cost !

HAT IS HK YOUTH ?
When I asked the HK youth what is their age (about 10 of them), they simultaneously told me one by one ... 18, 17, 19 20 .... not a single one was above 21 years of age, which Singaporeans consider as voting age. Many Singaporean parents would rather buffer their children to be innocent and concentrate to study ONLY. Not that degrees are important (gag).
Focusing on Singaporean youth above 21, they would not be able to hold a candle to these HK teenagers. Most Singaporeans are by default innocent, ignorant and naive. These HK youth are proud to stand here against tear gas, pepper spray, shields, truncheons, dragging of bodies, beatings, and finally ... rubber bullets.
