據《蘋果日報》報導，這棟「瓏山林世貿博物館」位於松勤路16號，地上14層、地下5層，總戶數27戶，除了近吳興街、基隆路外，離信義計劃區豪宅群車程只要5分鐘，且離另一棟號稱每坪超過300萬元的旋轉豪宅「陶朱隱園」也只要5分鐘車程，雖然地理位置優良，但卻無人問津。
「瓏山林世貿博物館」規劃坪數約108坪，總銷約80億，在2011年取得使用執照後，2012年曾開價1坪310~320萬元，不過至今一戶住戶都沒有，不僅鐵門深鎖，部分窗戶連貼膜都沒有拆。附近店家表示，原以為是豪宅客低調，但多年下來發現無人進出該社區，也沒有保全，才知道根本沒有住戶，笑稱「該不會是蚊子住的豪宅」。
而房仲業者透露，全案屬瓏山林企業所有，雖曾喊價，但並未公開銷售，聽聞瓏山林企業已故創辦人林榮三指示要採「全棟銷售」找買家，也傳會用為林家家宅，「傳聞很多，但都不見甚麼動作，相信該集團財力雄厚，應也不急著處理」；另外，高源不動產估價師聯合事務所長陳碧源則表示，該社區今年的房屋稅估計逼近800萬元，若持續空置，5年後房屋稅恐暴增至千萬元以上，相當驚人。
