據《蘋果日報》報導,這棟「瓏山林世貿博物館」位於松勤路16號,地上14層、地下5層,總戶數27戶,除了近吳興街、基隆路外,離信義計劃區豪宅群車程只要5分鐘,且離另一棟號稱每坪超過300萬元的旋轉豪宅「陶朱隱園」也只要5分鐘車程,雖然地理位置優良,但卻無人問津。

「瓏山林世貿博物館」規劃坪數約108坪,總銷約80億,在2011年取得使用執照後,2012年曾開價1坪310~320萬元,不過至今一戶住戶都沒有,不僅鐵門深鎖,部分窗戶連貼膜都沒有拆。附近店家表示,原以為是豪宅客低調,但多年下來發現無人進出該社區,也沒有保全,才知道根本沒有住戶,笑稱「該不會是蚊子住的豪宅」。

而房仲業者透露,全案屬瓏山林企業所有,雖曾喊價,但並未公開銷售,聽聞瓏山林企業已故創辦人林榮三指示要採「全棟銷售」找買家,也傳會用為林家家宅,「傳聞很多,但都不見甚麼動作,相信該集團財力雄厚,應也不急著處理」;另外,高源不動產估價師聯合事務所長陳碧源則表示,該社區今年的房屋稅估計逼近800萬元,若持續空置,5年後房屋稅恐暴增至千萬元以上,相當驚人。
