KLANG - A 14-year-old boy died after a goalpost, which he was playing with, fell on his head.

SMK Raja Mahadi student Nguyen Chee Ming was playing with some friends in the school's field at 5.30pm on Friday.

It is learnt that Nguyen was playfully hanging on to the goalpost when it suddenly fell on him, killing him on the spot.

At noon yesterday, several teachers and family members were seen at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahi*mah, where the victim's body was sent for post mortem.

They declined to be interviewed.

A check at the school showed the goalpost had been brought to a corner of the field.

South Klang police chief Asst Comm Mohamed Mat Yusop, meanwhile, confirmed the incident.
