Boon Heng's blatant use of PA to win back Aljunied signifies business as usual lah

In September, the prime minister said the “PA is not a political organisation, but is ‘part of the government’, running the grassroots network.” (AsiaOne)

However, how would the prime minister explain the disconcerting fact that the former deputy chairman and now special adviser of the PA is being tasked with winning a constituency for a political party, using his special adviser role in the PA to even appoint grassroots advisers to that particular constituency?

It is such dubious political machinations by the PAP which leave doubts in the public’s mind – that the PAP government is more interested in its own selfish political agenda than being principled and honest when it comes to institutions which are funded by public funds, such as the PA.

Out of the 15 members of the Board of Management of the PA, 8 are PAP members.

Don;t think we need to concern ourselves very much now with him or PA. If he and his PA were any good, they wouldnt have lost 1 GRC and 1 SMC and dropped 6%.

The PA is the same band of useless sheep being flogged over and over again. The scales are lifted from the people's eyes after GE2011, so things will never be the same again for these sheep pens.

This ageing ex-Minister is as good as fully retired. He is as extinct as the T-rex.
