Blizzard coming to S'pore
Its Battle.net servers will be located here too, reducing lag for players

<!-- story content : start --> GAMING giant Blizzard Entertainment, the maker of the world's most popular game World of Warcraft (WoW), is setting up an office in Singapore. It will offer technical support to players, as it is locating its Battle.net servers in Singapore as well. This will greatly reduce server latency, or lag, for players of its wildly popular games, the latest being the long-anticipated StarCraft II.
The California-based game developer and publisher said it is keen to expand its presence in this region, given the burgeoning gaming population. Its other Asian servers are in South Korea and Taiwan. The location, opening date and size of the office have yet to be decided, said Blizzard.
