but really, it was not freeing them that made the problem. It was a whole long list to get where they are today. The 1st mistake was importing them. If they had imported Asians instead, they would have been much happier.

If they didn't free them it would be a matter of time before they revolted and fought back. Then America would totally be owned by them. If not, the whole, the southern part at least. More black people than white on the plantations, more physically fit, more used to abuse. Who do you think would win?
