Bison charges at and tosses grandfather into the air at Yellowstone Park

A man was flung 2.4m into the air after a bull bison charged him at a campground in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

The agitated animal had earlier charged at groups of campers before stopping to wallow in the dirt. Moments later, a man and his grandson stopped to photograph the bison.

It chased the man around a cluster of pine trees before flipping him into the air. The man suffered multiple broken bones in the attack.
