Big ears live longer life ?

Is this a myth ? I tried to research so far there isn't any scientific prove. Just want to hear from traditional point of view, is this true ?
Do you personally know anyone with big ears and live very long life or short life.

Normally we describe people as having wide, large, big but seldom have I heard people having long ears. Long ear lobes maybe but long ears which usually apply to animals like rabbits and donkeys.

I would describe long ears in this case as the length of the ears from the bottom of the lobes to the top of the ear. If I said "large" ears, I would refer to total surface area, then something spread out like an elephant's ears would be large, and in this, the African elephant's ears would be larger than an Asian elephant's ears. It didn't cross my mind "long ears" would refer to those of a rabbits', but I suppose it could refer to that too. In any case, LKY does have pretty long ears looking at his picture.
