Big Data? What's so big about data created by company employee, private users and even machines?
This is definitely not something new but it's now a hot topic of discussion globally.
The pioneers like Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc has already been trying to think of ways to tap and leverage all these huge chunk of information
for their own gains and benefits to make tons of $$$.

Even our Sillypore gahbrament has make the move to implement the concept of "Smart Nation" for the purpose of monitoring and collecting intelligence for their own needs.
Vendors and manufacturers are now coming out with fancy technologies such as cloud computing, hardware/software to milk this trend.
Do you think it's just another Big Scam for the sake of revolutionizing the way for data collecting, processing and invasion of your privacy?

Harvesting and then selling your data so you can be the recipient of targeted advertising. ;)

Google already does this. Yahoo has its 'beacons'. Microsoft is planning something with the upcoming Windows 10.

Big data can extract everything from your birthday until what you are doing now. It is not a scam but invasion of privacy.
