although the night went to the (surviving) beatles, the best and most inspiring performance by far was from lang lang the panda and metallica. wow! gotta see that again. :eek:

Because most of them do not want to translate their Chinese names into the ang moh language and giving themselves some kind of bastard name that is neither Chinese nor ang moh. Unfortunately, the world is currently dominated by the ang moh language and as a compromise, they allow those who only know ang moh to address them by some ang moh name. If you want to know their Chinese names, you will have to first learn proper Chinese, not just the Hanyu Pinyin.

The most idiotic ones are those with not one but TWO english names, when they are not ang mo.

Could even be the parents who gave them the TWO english names. Are the parents wannabe ang mos, or do they have a serious case of pinkerton syndrome? :rolleyes:

miley is a young rebel and pushes the envelope with a mix of music, art and sex. the organizers did not wish to risk inviting her as she might cause many grammy grannies to die of heart attacks. :*:
