Secondly, what is a "god given right"? For simplicity I assume you are referring to Christianity. Can you point out clearly, among all the rights that humans know of, which of those are "god given" and not legislated in some way, formal i.e. legally or otherwise i.e. traditional / handed down?
I also agree that Singapore citizenship has never been given by God or "God", but imposed on most Sinkies by the PAP government.
But what is far more important is that every human being on Earth has a God-given right (or so-called basic "human rights") to search for sufficient basic necessities (i.e. water, food, shelter and clothing) from Earth's natural resources (all of which were created, and are still owned, by God Himself) for his/her basic daily sustenance, until he/she dies one day from causes that are beyond his/her control.
