This thread has been resurrected after about two years.

Huang, a Chinese national, was jailed for three weeks on Thursday (Aug 24) after she pleaded guilty to one count each of committing a rash act and causing hurt.

Wow, life is certainly good as a FT. It wouldn't be just three weeks for a Sinkie.

Beer promoter also need foreigners? Thus is the result of either lazy or corrupt HR department outsourcing labour to manning agents. Getting locals to work will not generate kickbacks.

The fact that foreigners can land on Singapore shores and start beating up the local population shows just how little respect the rest of the world has for sinkies.

This is a hard fact that is hard to swallow.
