The scammer did a dai loong fong just to get victim to click onto a link and subsequently login to their banking app to gain access and subsequently they are able to siphon all their money.
This means that actually any link we see from internet also can be used for such purpose to install malware, and need not have to be a dai loong fong to achieve the same effect.
The scammer also need not get the victim to login to their banking app immediately in order to take control. Anytime when the victim login they can also gain access.
And lastly, a bank surely can trace where they transfer those money to, but they unable to do anything about it.
So we need to ask ourselves these questions.
1. Why are we using a technology that is so fark up?
2. Why bank cannot do anything to nab the scammer by arresting the accounts where the money was transfered to? And they dare to open Internet banking for customers?
Perhaps is also becos of point 1 & 2 that the bank is always willing to compensate the victims in different amounts, becos actually by now Internet banking should already have been banned.
