hollywood is stretching it and resorting to board games for the silliest ideas to come out with blockbuster movies. this time it is "battleship" based on the board game with the same name. except for boring turn by turn you guess where i am and i guess where you are targeting using x-y coordinates, it's advanced alien giant spacecrafts taking on and annihilating already mothballed battleships from the u.s. navy. the only scenes keeping me awake are the explosions and awesome alien technology. otherwise, a big f*cking yawn.

next, hollywood will make a movie called "scrabble".
