Singapore would be in trouble if the opposition take over n 2016. From the big U-turn by WP on million dollar minister pay to the ridiculous upfront 99 yr HDB rental by SDP it's obvious the polpicy department still need serious work

Despite the numerous shortcomings of the incumbents, they are still poles ahead of the rest.

If WP or the SDP were to take over the reigns, it would be an almighty disaster. They're even less trustworthy plus they don't have the skills or the brains to run a country.

Give me the PAP anytime. I have full confidence that they'll protect my Singapore assets.

The creation of the GRC caused the loss of Aljunied GRC and it would open the doors to more WP members entering Parliament in 2016 when more GRC fell. You reap what you sow. PAP might create more SMC to stem flow of more oppo members into Parliament; the only way to retain majority control. How else to stop 4 to 5 oppo members going into Parliament at one time?

the pap has to put in fairly strong guys in SMCs to win. Most pap newbies wld be slaughtered in SMC.

the Opposition has some strong and credible candidates and they stand good chance in GRCs. It's ironic that the GRC is coming back to haunt the PAP. evil will never overcome good. darkness will never prevail over light.
