We've also had many road closures in Spore which were just as bad e.g. night races, ASEAN, APEC, ... These have were just as bad.

This is what i got from Thai Visa.com

Just called a Thai friend, a retired general, whose house is right on one of the roads used by the "protesters". He said that he went out to talk to them and found that many of the people he saw had been bused in from southern Thailand. They had been given 2,000 baht a piece for their "protesting" efforts. We are planning to get a group of us friends together and go protest tomorrow. What a great party we could have for 2,000 baht each.

The previous protest before the shutdown, even have free food and what i have heard , they also provide vegetarian food and meals too.

Would be fun if there were a sinkie shutdown,.....wait...if all smrt line shutdowns due to loss of traction...it becomes a BSOD.

2000B = S$80. that's a good deal for them. they could stop work, take a free bus ride to capital, and hang around city centre carrying picket signs.

Price went up....previously market rate was $B500

The so-called 'protestors' never really care as to who is the government of the day. Like that fucktard tonychat, they were there to earn some bahts + free food and drinks.

it is all Thaksin's fault. he should never have challenged and disrupted the status quo in Thailand politics.

this show pap way is so much better than the thai royal family way. heard anyone want to close down singapore? nobody even dare to think about it.

Woe betide Khun Thaksin for daring to help the poor....
Damn the thai peasants for not knowing their station in life and fighting for equality.

Now there is 4 group in Thailand
1st belong to RED shirt>>> Yingluk supporter
2nd belong to blue shirt>>> Abhisit suppoter
3rd belong to Suthep>>> current protestor
4th neutral>> sitting on fence

Now just matter of time and money. How much real big supporter donation does Suthep have? Each protestor Suthep need to spend SG$50 for salary/food/tent/poster..................for one day. That few million SG$$$ each day.
And Bangkok is Abhisit strong hold>>> drag too long will affect business and Abhisit supporter will back fire if drag for too long>>> in the end $$$ talk.
