PATHUM THANI - Police on Tuesday arrested a drug suspect and seized 180,000 methamphetamine pills, or yaba, with a street value of 54 million baht.
Police said 90 bundles of yaba pills were found hidden in a 50cm x 100cm stereo speaker in the suspect's car.
The suspect, Sunthorn Sawangwong, 36, told investigators that the pills were smuggled from a neighbouring country and he planned to sell them in Pathum Thani and Bangkok, police said.
