The parents of a 20-year-old Chinese student who was allegedly killed at a condominium unit last week are expected to bring her ashes back to China for burial.
The victim, Li Chuyan (transliteration), was allegedly killed on June 23 and her boyfriend, Zhu Xuanqi (transliteration), has since been charged with murder at the Petaling Jaya Magistrates’ Court today.
According to Sin Chew Daily, Li’s parents were not present in court during the proceedings. Instead, they were represented by their lawyers who attended the case on their behalf.
