I was doing some Google sleuthing on the new Singapolitics site, and was able to come across this unedited document - which seems to be all the contributions to the "Ask The PM" feature on the site.

Let me give you some previews..

pg 94
After 58 years, I now feel betrayed and let down by a government from a party I had loved and supported all my adult life. Your government has failed to recognise the stress that has been building up in the ordinary Singaporean man in the street. Stress that is slowly but surely translating into boorish and selfish behaviour we experience in our daily outings and on the roads. People have become less tolerant of each other, racism is rearing its ugly head and we openly display a dog-eat-dog mentality. I have always been a mild-mannered gentleman but of late, I experience feelings of angst and intolerance against my fellow citizens and contempt at the new arrival PRs.

pg 176.
Our child is a proud Singaporean without any formal National Education introduced. When she was four, she once told me that ‘Singapore is like the brick house in the Three Little Pigs story. Even when the bad wolves came wanting to destroy us, we will not be destroyed”. This was one of the many, not excluding her recent acts of going jogging at a park connector behind us, carrying a plastic bag to clean up the left over foods boxes and drinks that foreign workers have left behind after eating.

pg 158.
My dear PM,
Thank you for sparing me the symbolic act of kneeling down in front of your office with a petition over my head, crying ‘Yen Wong’

My father and I were ardent PAP fanatics to the extend that if the PAP is the opposition, we are the PAP terrorists. But due your callous political and social enforcement of your good policies over the last 10 years, it seems rather difficult not to have a change of heart.

You have been working your backside out just to secure a few more votes for one election while your high government officials is doing the opposite and creating permanent opposition supporters.

Have fun going through it !
