Woman gets stuck between bus seats

The woman was stuck in this awkward position on bus 196 at about 4pm yesterday.

A rare "accident" happened on board a bus yesterday.

A woman got "stuck" between two bus seats and had to be rescued by Civil Defence personnel.

A netizen "Sean" said on the Stomp website that he first saw the woman when he was boarding the bus. He had thought she was trying to pick up something from under the seat in front of her.

When Sean was alighting a few stops later, he saw the woman in the same position and realised that she was stuck.

Sean informed the bus driver and the Civil Defence was alerted. The rescue personnel had to dismantle the bus seats to get the woman out.
