Asians and Cars - an oxymoron

After sitting in cars, taxis etc in various cities and countries in many parts of the World I can safely say that Asians and that includes Chinese, Indians etc. were never meant to gel with a motorised vehicle.

1. Unable to turn without oversteering or understeering

2. Unable to pace with traffic flow

3. Unable to merge without missing a beat

4. Unable to operate a vehicle in a smooth manner - its more a matter of the degree of jerkiness that must be endured.

5. Unable to bring the vehicle to a smooth complete stop.

I see no problems with Caucasians and Africans no matter the condition of the vehicle. Till today when I take a rental or a cab in a foreign country, I have to manage my expectations when I see Asians driving on the road or when they are driving the cab that I am in.

I agree that car is a snobbish appeal for Asians. People honk a lot in Asian cities but in the western world, honking is considered very rude, and the graceful, will just focus that minute-second on averting the accident or giving way (instead of honking).

Black cab Caucasian drivers in London are born arseholes, African cab drivers have no time for traffic laws, American cab drivers will find a way to rip you but everyone one of them have complete control of their vehicles, can execute a turn on a dime, merge like 2 gays on a hot night out and do a stop that will make the lunar landing proud.

Try that with an Asian driver. Sticky to their lane forgiving way to another driver is major challenge.

Trying taking a cab in Shanghai especially on a highway. In India not only are they are fucked up drivers, they will say yes to everything including driving to the moon and you never reach your destination.

I think cars will always remain the most commonly used status thing. It is highly visible and the ultimate how lian device. The best way to broadcast to those around you that you have the biggest dick.
