Since when have Sporeans not dutifully complied with restrictions imposed by the govt? Yes, there were a few odd balls here and there but by are large Singaporeans have been the most compliant ppl any govt could wish for?
Let us be absolutely clear about this. The ppl who let us down is not our fellow Sporeans but the govt!!!

Taiwan and Vietnam have not had community cases for more than a month now. Both countries and Spore had their first case on the 23 Jan but contrast this to Spore. We are still having on average 500 - 600 cases per day. So the G tries to separate the FWs under a different category. For all intents and purposes those workers are not from space or a cruise ship. They are all locally acquired cases.
This is the same govt under whose watch Mas Selamat had escaped from maximum security prison. That sent about 7000 uniform personnel into the jungle to look for him while he was having a swim in the Straits Of Johor.
This is the same govt that had neglected to institute a proper maintenance regime for an ageing MRT system that resulted in massive breakdowns just not long ago.
This is the same govt that had permitted PMDs on public footpaths without a proper study being done resulting in deaths and lives being permanently maimed. That failed to regulate the importation of sub-standard e-bikes and PMDs that caused many fires to break out in residences. That had to use public funds to take unsafe devices off the owners' hands.
These same ppl, this same political party that are asking the ppl of Spore to elect them to power with full mandate for another 5 year term.
Did they own up to all the mistakes? Did they ask for pardon? You still trust them?
Think carefully. For yourself. For your future generations. You think there is a future for them as taxi/PHV drivers? As food delivery workers? As security guards? Your think there is a future for them when they let in so many foreigners to steal their lunch?
