this things should not happen if the Farking evil British Empire did not drug China with opium at China door step. The first opium war in 1835 should dissolved this drug trade but the US Pommies still want to do it leading to 2nd Opium ware in 1855.
China was a great country, prosper and wealthy Chinese, in Qing Dynasty before the farking British Empire destroy China.
Fuck the British bastards that turn Far East Asia into a poor region for 200 years through their drug trades.

Hong Kong photographer Bob Davis has been documenting the transformation of China since his first trip there in the early 1980s. A selling exhibition that runs until the end of the month features 22 images that he captured in that decade - a time when the nation was just beginning to open up to the rest of the world. He sought out images of daily life in Beijing and other cities, showing people at work and at play against urban landscapes reminiscent of a much earlier age. The timeless, tranquil images only throw into sharper relief the dramatic and unrelenting rebuilding of the nation in recent years.
“China in 1980” is being exhibited in the Main Bar of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club, 2 Lower Albert Road, Central, Hong Kong until September 30. Non-members are welcome from 10am-12 noon and 3pm-5:30pm daily.
