A drunk, foreign, Caucasian man in his 30s stole a tractor from a construction site and took it for a joy ride near Orchard Road, damaging a bus stop, 4 taxis and the walkway.
It is understood that the tractor was stolen from an Orchard Hotel work site and the man drove it onto the walkway and crashed it into a bus stop.
Afterward, the drunk man continued to drive the tractor vack onto the road and hit a taxi along Claymore Road.
After hitting the taxi, he continued to drive forward, causing the taxi to crash into 3 more taxis lines up behind it:
The man was arrested shortly after for a number of offences including criminal trespass, theft, mischief and rash driving.
No one was hurt during the incident but extensive damage was caused to the bus stop, the 4 taxis and the walkway thanks to the drunk man’s behaviour.
