I understand the Malaysia version of 152 defines Malays as people who embrace Islam as their religion, adopt the Malay culture, and speaks the Malay language. This is regardless they are Chinese, India or European. As long as they satisfy the 3 conditions stated earlier, they qualify for Malays' special rights in Malaysia.
Is this the same in Singapore? How does Singapore define "Malay"?
