Are we done with the peak of wuhan virus?

Already at the peak and will get better when weather gets warmer in the northern hemisphere, also by that time a partial or full vaccine should be found...for sg case should be going to dorscon yellow once there are less than a case daily average over a 3 weeks period...don't worry our ministers are more concerned about the economy than u or me s we really have nothing to fall back on...the mask issue really kicked them in the butt as they finally realized having billions and trillions dosent give u automatic access to everything and with the hoarding, they realize the people can turn against them once they no longer have trust in you

I am worried for my daughter. I often pray to whichever god, if there's one to begin with, that I be the one selected to be infected if the need be, and not her. It's rather distressing for me, as it would mean I would need assistance if I am incapable to look after her if I get it.
why you worried? you not 80+ and frail and neither is your daughter. neither of you are likely to have serious outcomes from the virus. More likely to worry about getting run over by a car or pmd than wuhan virus for the two of you.

stop worrying and keep on living.

I will always worry because it's no longer about me alone.

Thankfully, I just read the news that there's no new infection today.

South Korea looks bad, and that's worrying.

this crisis will likely stay for another 2 months, ... besides taking the necessary precautions as pastor glocky has advised, go on a diet with plenty of garlic and onions... these food will boost up a person immune system against infection... 1 other plus is... the hot temperature outside, .. at 35 C, the virus can't tahan for long... n dun worry too much..:geek:
I agree but the fear is always there. One never knows who in the mrt train, the bus or at the supermarket is a spreader. They can have no symptoms, isn't it?

I think we should treat wuhan virus as tge new normal, like how we adjusted to dengue.

In a crisis, there's nothing wrong to feel fearful...any normal person will behave n react the same..just like those who in the long Q at the ntuc marts.. it proofs that your brain is still functioning... inside the trains, bus, taxis ...yes it's a health hazard indeed... but again 90% of the cases do not come from here...

Yesterday there were no new cases. I hope today has none too, hopefully...

The peak should be over in a matter of weeks. What about the peak of those medical bills involving quarantine, pills & care?
whose gonna pick the tab?

Precisely! This case 89 has no link to any existing clusters. No info on how he got infected.

Case 89

11. Case 89 is a 41 year-old male Singapore Permanent Resident who has no recent travel history to China. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 22 February morning, and is currently warded in an isolation room at NCID.

#89 is a fucking pinoy. His news appeared in their country's fucking papers.

As a parent worrying for your family is perfectly normal.
It is part of life.
Since your child is young, you have a long way to go.

you should worry more on job retention and countries still have spare food to export

820 cases in korea. Reatrds no travel ban and this goon thinks its over

820 cases in korea. Reatrds no travel ban and this goon thinks its over

More than 16,000 South Koreans die from Influenza related causes every year so the Corona virus will hardly make any appreciable difference to this figure.

28,000 die from strokes so the South Koreans should be far more worried about hypertension, the harmful effects of smoking and cholesterol levels than about the corona virus.

One of the best ways to ward off strokes is to quit smoking and commence an exercise regime that involves at least 30 minutes of exercise at 60% to 80% of max heart rate at least 4 times a week.

This would reduce the chances of dying far more effectively than any mask.
