SMRT says yes; that they are very safe.In fact that is their first news release--not even an apology but stressing that MRT safe...is it?

Here is the fact sheet;-

MRT blames everything on a power outage .Power outage?Hey,is that not any farmer or a village idiot is prepared for?Do they mean if power goes suddenly off in a hospital than every patient who is hooked up to life saving devices must die?

Man,!are we not talking about human lifves packed like sardines shuttled in tunnels underground.Don't they have such thing as batteries or generators backing up for emergencies? At least any village idiot in Timbaktu does.I mean prepared for emergencies when electricity goes bonk!

Now,the real question. What is SMRT hiding? And why were there no batteries in carriages as back up for emergencies?

Maybe underground got alot of rodents, bite bite cables:( Then blame god, rain rain too much, then "phiak".....shorted:(

The bus service is a joke also. Two days ago, I was taking bus 65 and the PRC driver wore his uniform with 2 buttons unbutton. Today took bus 33, the Msian driver stopped at the junction of Joo Chiat Road and Tembeling Rd and ran to to petrol station to relieve himself, leaving all of us amused.

the next driver may bring out his potty and do his business in full view of all. :o
