I watched CNN documentary recently and saw former tennis star Michael Chang on TV. He is still young, but almost bald. It's so sad. And when I start looking around, I find that most sportsmen are bald even before reaching 40s.

Wayne Rooney is halfway there. Alan Shearer is bald. John McEnroe also became bald at quite a young age.

Is it a case of sweating too much and too quickly ?

This guy has never worked up a sweat in his life!

Please consult that fellow who upturn the downturn by singing.
At his age he still has a head full of hair.

Maybe singing is good for the head.

Don't forget probably the first young bald sportsman to hit the bigtime, Bobby Charlton, and movie stars like Jack Nicholson and Kevin Costner.

I think it's somewhere between genetic and hereditary, and I don't believe there's remedy for it. All these balding celebrities have more than enough money to pay for the best remedy in the world. If remedy there is, they would have gotten it first. I'm really sceptical about so-called hair growth products and clinics. But I'm not worried, I have naturally luxuriant and luscious hair that I can keep at any length I fancy. :)

Bald sportsmen are always rich - Zidane for example, and those named by other bros. Agree, if there is a cure, these chaps would not be bald in the first place.

Baldness or not is not important. What lies inside the head is more important. Was told there are medication available but these are to prevent further balding. Whether hair growth or not, nobody can assure.

Side effects though. Small head affected coz of big head.

There's something called hair transplant which is to take hair mostly growing on the back of the head to put it on those bald areas.

Maybe can use pubic hair too.

Yeah, every man's handsome in his own way. Just a matter of some being more handsome than others.

You're so desperate that you transplant your pubic hair onto your head?

It's a joke lah ramseth, i don't need to do hair transplant. I know you very despo to get back at me.

Bro, natural curls. No need to visit hairdresser. Save money.

I have silky straight hair like most women, in fact some would say like what many women would even envy. I don't like curls anyway.

Talking about curls and women, I notice that even among Indians, Malays and Caucasians of whom many men have curly hair, their women mostly seem to have straight hair. The only exception seems to be Africans, of whom both men and women have the same curly hair, and very curly.

Anyway, I haven't visited a barber or hairdresser for more than half a year. Shampoo, mousse, comb and hairband are all I need.
