Are PRs Being Treated Like Citizens in SG?

There are any freebies granted to PRs as if they are shitizens in SG such as travel concession in public transport and many other schemes like this one written to seem that only Singaporeans are eligible but in reality, the PRs have the same privilege too -

ActiveSG: Free $100 sports credit and lifetime membership for all Singaporeans

Singaporeans and PRs can look forward to $100 free credits and a lifetime membership when they sign up for ActiveSG. A new membership portal - members.myactivesg.com - will allow those with similar interests to team up for competitions as well.

$100 in credits could work out to 100 visits to the swimming pool, 30 hours of table tennis or three months of unlimited gym access.

Acting Culture, Community and Youth Minister Lawrence Wong, who officiated the launch (26 Apr), said the movement will be the key anchor in Singapore's sports ecosystem.

"We hope that Singaporeans will come forward, sign up for ActiveSG, but more importantly make use of the 100-dollar credit, sign up for programmes and book facilities, go to the gym, go to the swimming pool and make sports a part of their life," he said. Around 3.8 million Singaporeans and permanent residents are eligible for the scheme.
.

So, the point here is: Why the foreigners who hold PR are also entitled to similar privileges as Singaporeans? Why are PRs not considered as foreigners and denied privileges granted to Singaporeans?

Are the pappies blind to this fact?

In highly developed angmos countries there are no distinction between citizens pr or foreigners. Only under developed and narrow minded societies have distinctions between even ethnic or non ethnic citizens. Does Bumiputra sounds familiar to you?

Angmos still lumber one! God loves everyone and there is no bias.

Ya, in USA, ang moh loves every one until one day some arabs brought down their twin towers and from that time onwards, every muslim, good or bad, is regarded with suspicion, till to day. No distinction between citizens and foreigners? Tell it to the Americans.

This cannot be true. In fact, PRs enjoy everything that SGs enjoy, except that they are forbidden from sharing the same "privilege" of serving NS! In that sense, PRs are still "worse off" than SGs. No?

PR's enjoy the best of both world's-enjoy privileges of singaporeans and that of their home country .

First generation PR's do not need to serve NS while many 2nd generation PR's renounce their PR's just before NS (to escape enlistment) and PR's can withdraw their CPF on "permanent return" to their home country.- so in that sense they are even better off than citizens (esp with the increasing min sum).
