Not really the rental is expensive in Japan .. Asakusa a tourist spot rental going as low as sin$1500 . My hostess joint cost about sin$8000 ( if I open in Singapore at least 10k ) my farm rental 5k ( size bigger then football field ) my pets shop ( that one expensive , because good location sin$5000 )

Cannot compare like that SG some location also cheap. Eg. farmland in Lim Chu Kang.

12 year ago farm in LCK is about 2k/acre/month rent from gov. Most is on 20 year contract rental will expired in 8 year.
Maybe now is SG$3k/acre/month can only use for farming purpose.

Yes you right! Pay one lump sum eg. 10 year lease have to pay total one time. Just like any land in SG that called lease hold. Only farm land lease period shorter.
How long is your friend lease period in pasir ris? Care to share.
In LCK mostly 20 year lease. Now is already 12 year another 8 year.

I'm not sure how long my friend lease the space in pasir ris . But I heard him saying the goverment want to take back all those farm there .. Will be relocated to another place .

I understand your feeling farming if fun when you see the harvest.
I always visit my relative in Malaysia when long holiday help him out a bit for FOC. When see the tree bearing fruit and vege grow up feel very happy see the result of my work.

I always love those farming life in Malaysia even before I started farming. My farm is doing animals breeding . It's warm my heart to see animals breed under my care .. The feeling is priceless

Dont you feel sad when animal you breed chicken/cow/pig then sell and slaughter?
For chicken/duck maybe no feeling for pig and cow sure have feeling.

I don't sell them for food .. I help them find owner that can takecare of them.. I'm in pets trade

Eg. a dog> Almost 99.99999% dog will feel sad when their owner die. Trust me! I see the dog really sad. Follow to funeral/follow to grave yard better than his own children. Coming back from funeral the dog still sad still waiting for owner to come back.
