I don't think this useless guy knows anything. That is why Low Thia Khiang decided to kick him out for the greater good of the Workers Party. He started a whispering campaign and worked hard to do so. This useless bum never know what is going on behind his back. All this good for nothing knows is how to sell books at shopping centres.

As it has now been clearly proven, Singapore is better off with Low Thia Khiang having got rid off this useless bum who, as providence and fortune would have it, was the one who took him into the party.

Then why should SDP pick this as a strategic time and move to compete in a ward well contested by another party in past elections? Doesn't this withdrawal from a BE ( it is not a GE) apply to them as well?

To me there is some unwritten code of ethics that political parties have applied in the past to avoid multi-cornered fights. Now why must they rob another just to benefit their own partitional interest but missing the bigger picture of adding seats to the opposition slate?

Ethics and the SDP are words that you should not put together when describing this hopeless party. The SDP is an unethical party. Full stop. It will just move into any territory as it sees fit even though some other political parties like the WP has been working hard in that territory.

Ask "10 minutes" SDA's Desmond Lim. He should know.

Can't be 3. In a fully functioning democracy, as the WP crowd here has intelligently observed and rightly pointed out, there can only be two parties. And as everyone knows, Australia is a fully functioning democracy. Hence, there are only two political parties, Labour and Liberals. BTW, the Liberals are the conservative party. Please don't be misled by its name "Liberal Party" to think it is a "liberal" party.

Australian MPs do not have to manage town councils and play deity to peasant petitions. Where were you living all this while?

The playing field is indeed uneven in Singapore. The WP is the only party that has to manage town councils and attend weekly peasant meetings.

GMS was very much a liability to WP during those time when he engaged in frame war with fellow forumers here.

Indeed he was. That was why, with the exception of WP's Vincent Sear, each and every of the WP member/astroturfers, crowd and supporters not only supported but joined him in criticising, denigrating and condemning non-WP individuals and non-WP political parties.

If I may quote one of the very wise and highly intelligent WP's ray_of_hope, favourite phrase, "the wheel has come full circle".

The only problem is that the wheel, in coming full circle, has come resting on the WP. Hence, poor GMS is now being criticised, castigated and condemned for doing what he has always done which had previously, resulted in him being the hero and darling of the WP crowd.

Like you, I used to subscribe to these two beliefs. But the penny dropped a while ago. I realised my folly. Incidentally, that's why I have not been in this forum for a while. Until a few days ago, I was too proud to acknowledge my mistakes. Unlike Dauphin Lee Hsien Loong, I had too much pride and did not want to acknowledge and apologise for my many mistakes.

Low Thia Khiang, the WP, its' members/astroturfers and passionate supporters have succeeded in doing what my grandchildren have failed to do, i.e. make me eat humble pie.

Unlike you, I believe it is important which party wins. If they win, SDA will bumble along like drunken clowns , RP and SDP will be too disrespectful and confrontational and talk "high brow" rubbish which the electorate does not care or give two hoots about. NSP will talk about tuition centres. SPP will complain about nepotism and how the Lees are keeping everything within the family.

As such, I have been convinced and now believe the PAP and WP are the only parties that deserves to, can be and should be in Parliament. All the other mosquito parties like the SDP, RP, SDA, etc need to be taught a painful lesson about Chinese etiquette, i.e. you must respect your elders and defer to authority. They must be taught not to be boh tua boh suay and to be able to make distinctions and know what is high, what is low, what is above, what is below.

Low Thia Khiang and WP must teach all these mosquito parties this painful lesson.

That's why i always said don't curse and swear for nothing, always states the truth and facts and most important with common sense. Let the people know what and where has been right and what is wrong.

Educate them.. and my favourite quote "Take care of your family educate your children and maybe one day when we have more people of these calibre be it they're in PAP like Dr Liliy Neo or Chen sow mow of WP the pain and sufferings of the poorer citizens might be echoed in Parliament then things might change for the better for us all.

The most important entity is the Public the Citizens.. If they're oppressed or cheated when the wheels come full circle you will suffer. The force of the public will rises to counter till the time is right. You cannot win them forever. The higher you climb the harder you fall. Work with the public take care of them let them be your back up and you'll rule long.

Don't despise them don't look down on them. Don't say they're from inferior genes and thy're stupid. When a task is learnt the results or work they produce are the same be it done by a genius or a normal person. Genius may produces retards kids too.

If PAP stop giving benefits to RC members maybe the real decent people may be found serving the public instead of power craze and greedy "yes men" reporting only what the MPs hope to hear and then our government may act upon correctly.

The complains on the ground zero are small and easily taken care of. When the poor approach Town council or RC for help don't just give them $30 NTUC vouchers and offer them $700 hundred dollars job when they need to feed 3 kids, wife and a ageing parent...... and then tell them i'm sorry if you don't take this job then we cannot help you.. and here $30 NTUC voucher for you. rofl...

That's why they hate you. Because of your RC and MPs are not doing enough or correctly. If you really help them and when the poor praises you it'll be priceless.

With Hundreds of billion in Reserve our government can help those Family with less then $1,200 monthly income easily... Please do away with the fucks excuse " We don't want to give handouts to every tom dick and harry. You're very far from there.
