Caught the whole series on NG a while back. This series is better then most so far. Not so Americanish. Shows the Germans actually started losing coz of the Russians not coz the American heroes came to save them

very good series...and the music already give me the creeps...n the images are chilling...good in portraying the brutal / cruel realty of war.

the decisive factor that tilts the war in favor of Soviet Union against Germany was U.S lend lease supplies to the Russians. that's what the Russians don't want the world to know.

after the Tripartite pact, Germany probably expected Japan to invade the defenseless Soviet Siberia where the main force had left to defend Moscow. If that happened, Russia will be in deep shit. Instead Japan chose to expand southwards and the Germans was pretty hard done by this Japan's decision.

from what i see..Hitler for some reason decide to invade East when his business is not finished in the west - leading to him fighting on 2 fronts...

Russia is already in his pocket with the peace treaty...he should have invaded England whilst he is at it and zip up Europe first before turning eastwards.
